I came up with a fun and springy get well card for this week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge and unluckily our next door neighbor broke her ankle Friday night, so she will be the recipient of this latest card.
I used a combination of papers from the Pebbles Spring Fling 6×6 pad and Simple Stories Vintage Bliss 6×6 pad to create this card and added a metallic foil bee sticker to finish off the honeycomb look. Of course I inked all the edges and laid down a quick “feel better” sentiment to complete the card. This one was quick and easy after I decided what shape to make the three main objects, and I really hope it brightens Miss Connie’s day!
Wonderful card and the use of patterned paper shapes is so clever! Hope your neighbour heals quickly! Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.
Thanks for popping in for a look and for the well wishes for my neighbor. See you next time at FMS.
I love your little bee and the quilted look of the hexagons. Really a cute design. Thank you for playing this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
Thanks, Judy. I’m afraid I have all things spring on my mind! Thanks for stopping by for a look.
