After last week’s Freshly Made Sketches challenge, I decided to create an entire collection of Christmas cards using the rest of my “Tis the Season” kit by Echo Park. So when the new sketch came out this week at Freshly Made Sketches, of course I had to play along.
All the papers used on this creation are from the EP “Tis the Season” collection, including the premade graphic card. I interpreted one of the boxes from the sketch into a banner shape and slightly popped up the front card. I inked all my edges with an antique gray color and added one little accent of snowflake ribbon to polish off the whole look.
Sometime in the next several days I hope to share the entire Christmas card collection I’m working on, so I hope you will return for a look see.
Love it! It looks like it would be quick and easy to make.
Thanks! It was really quick once I got my head wrapped around the sketch. The two rectangles stumped me for a bit, but when I started thinking “outside the box” it suddenly came to me.
Such a pretty Christmas card! I love that graphic! Love the mix of patterns and colours too! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
Thanks, Jen! So glad you liked my little Christmas creation.
I love the happy mix of color and pattern on your card! Glad you joined us at FMS!
Thank you Linda. I always enjoy a good challenge at FMS!
