A little paper, a squirt of Glimmer Mist, a bit of ink and glitter and a snow flake punch was all it took to create this wintry card for Freshly Made Sketches’ latest challenge. I love the simplicity of the sketch, so I wanted my card to carry that same feeling. “Simplicity” is my word for the year, you know.
Seriously, there was no fancy to-do with this project. I used white cardstock and a bit of blues to create this frosty theme. I applied glitter to my snowflake and around the card corners (kind of hard to see in the photo) with a small paintbrush for a winter touch; but other than that, it was very basic. I also kept the sentiment general so that it can be a whatever, every day kind of card.
Your snowflake is beautiful against that simply spattered background! Pretty card! Glad you joined us at FMS!

What a lovely CAS card – the blue spatters are a perfect background for the glitzy snowflake.
Thanks, Carol. I’m so glad you like the splatters. You just never know what you’re going to get with Glimmer Mist.
